An evening of romance, beauty and talent, showcasing Polynesian casual wear, talent and evening wear categories.

FEBRUARY 15 TAHITIAN DANCE COMPETITION
The 9th annual Heiva I Hawai`i will showcase amazing groups from all over Hawai`i Island and share the cultural dance and music traditions of our Tupuna. From riveting drum dances, to melodic `Ahuroa, spectators will be in awe of the Tahitian culture. Solo, couple and group competition from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at Hale Halawai in the heart of Kailua Kona, Hawai`i.
Also featuring Polynesian Artisans and Crafters, Food Vendors and Fun to Jump Kona's inflatables.
The day ends with the opportunity to participate in Tahitian Dance and Drumming workshops. The workshops are set to begin at the conclusion of competition and are open to the public. We will post more details regarding the workshops including FEE information.

FEBRUARY 16 TAHITIAN DANCE COMPETITION
The excitement continues with the second-day of competition beginning with the overall soloist competition for the Tamaroa, Tamahine, Tane and Vahine categories.
The group competition continues with entries in Tahitian Ote`a, `Aparima, `Ahuroa, and Drumming. The drums are loud, the hips are shaking and the costumes are beautifully crafted. Competition from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Also featuring Polynesian Artisans and Crafters, Food Vendors and Fun to Jump Kona's inflatables.
